Rob has recently partnered with Blue Slate Media, operated out of Sydney Australia by Australian Producer/Writer, model & TV presenter, Ali Mutch.

The brief for this project was to create an "image/style" video and a "welcome" video for the hotel's website and guest rooms. The videos will be screened on the hotel website, on iPads in every guest room and on HD TV's throughout the hotels many bars, restaurants and lounges. The videos are targeted to a broad demographic looking for a premium, luxury brand experience.

Establishment is a 5 star boutique hotel located in Sydney's busy CBD and is part of the Merivale Group of hotels.

The shoot took place over several days to accommodate the busy hotel. Working with a small footprint with minima impact was therefor very important so Rob decided to help maintain a low profile further by using

Canon 5D MkII HDSLR

Rob also wanted to keep the camera moving to create a very lyrical feel to the "style" piece SO he decided to mount the Canon 5D on a Steadicam Merlin thereby giving the piece a flow that sweeps the viewer along and into the mood and feel of the hotel

The "Welcome" video is a longer clip taking the viewer through the hotels various rooms, bars and restaurants to give a personalized and detailed overview to intending guests as well as those who have already checked in.
